Tyrolean Innovation Award 2020

It was a great honour to receive the Tyrolean Innovation Award 2020, awarded by the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce and the State of Tyrol. The prize was assigned to three companies for the outstanding achievements and contribution to the local innovation landscape. It was an especially meaningful recognition this year given the unprecedented difficulties related to the pandemic. “By bringing the outstanding achievements of local companies onto the stage and paying tribute to them, we show that despite all the difficulties, outstanding results are still being achieved, which sends a positive signal,” said the President of the Chamber of Commerce Christoph Walser.
ParityQC received the award in the “Concepts” category, for its groundbreaking quantum architecture, an innovative product supported by a strong foundation of research and patents. “With our own architecture – the blueprints for chips, so to speak – and the associated algorithms, we offer a coordinated hardware and software solution,” explained the co-CEOs Magdalena Hauser and Wolfgang Lechner “This makes us the first quantum architecture company in the world.”
